I just heard the tragic news of Freddie Hubbard's passing. For me it
was always Miles Davis or Freddie Hubbard; there were plenty of other
influences along the way but those two definitely left their mark.
Freddie was and will remain one of the most influential trumpet
players in the history of jazz. He will surely be missed.

These photos were taken at a BMI Showcase at the Cobden Club in
London with Andy Fleet
a few months ago. Not sure who the photographer was, but hopefully
they don't mind them being displayed here.
Recording with the lovely Miss Jane Fraser today.
Many things to talk about this month but not enough time to say it...
On 4th November 2008 the US finally got their shit together...

Mr. Jonas Alexander Canniere!
This Sunday (5th October) I'll be joining Canadian jazz singer
Tammy Weis at London's famous
606 Club. She's definitely worth
a listen (and the 」8 to get in) if you're free.
Visit
www.tammyweis.com or
